NICOLAS DILLON

Nicolas Dillon was born in Blenheim in 1966 and is renowned for his intimate and often atmospheric paintings of wildlife. The first drawings he made around the age of 5 were of birds and they have formed the focus of his artistic output ever since. Working directly into a sketchbook his paintings are the result of countless hours observing and painting in nature. In this way he has built a deep connection to the natural world.
His celebrated paintings are sought after by collectors from around the world and are held in many private and public collections. Nicolas Dillon continues to live and paint in Marlborough with his wife and two children.
